Originally from Colorado, Dr. Braaton completed his undergraduate program at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. His desire to contribute to the community while building his career led him to medical school at Creighton University. He then completed his medical residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. He chose to do a foot and ankle fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Braaton practiced orthopedics in Yakima, Washington, for 6 years before moving to Modesto, California, in 2004 and establishing his practice exclusively with OrthoMed Center. He has a medical license to practice in the states of Texas, Washington, and California.
Today, Dr. Braaton is a leader in orthopedics. He is also well-known among his patients and the community for his volunteer activities and as someone who works hard to serve the community, even outside of orthopedics. Dr. Braaton’s patients are always impressed with his dedication and professionalism in dealing with every patient with patience, sensitivity, and honesty. He is committed to patient care while treating his patients for conditions such as ankle replacements, realignment surgery, and fusions to help treat foot deformities and help patients have a better quality of life.
